As a reader of our blog can probably tell: we are somewhat obsessive-compulsive when it comes to collecting information about new tax resolution companies. About 6 months ago, our list of tax resolution companies was at a mere 50 companies. It has grown to 86. What strikes me about the majority of these new companies is how unoriginal and banal their websites are. My sense is that the quality of information on the website is often a reflection of how these companies are actually run. Furthermore, you would be hard pressed to find an actual licensed tax professional listed on these sites. Here are a bunch of sites that make me hurt:
http://www.cleartaxrelief.com/aboutus.html
http://www.irs-tax-settlement-hq.com/about-irs-tax-settlement.html
http://www.instanttaxsolutions.com/
http://www.national-tax-solutions.com/
http://www.urgenttaxcare.com/
http://www.taxlawadvocates.com/Contact-Us.html
So unoriginal. Who are they? Do they have anything unique to say about tax resolution? Why should we believe they are not scams?
