Some company is sending out the following mailer to people/businesses with tax liens: Notice of Federal Lien. The company which is reachable at 1-888-552-1902 is making up IRS code #'s as well. The letter states it is Form 778 (Y) (c) Notice of Federal Tax Lien filing. We called the number - it rang and rang -- finally a voice message picked up -- they are the "Tax Litigation Hotline." We were alerted to this egregiously and erroneously prepared letter from a email alert from National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). The postal address is Santa Ana California: the lion's den of fly by night tax resolution companies.
